Govt of India is committed to achieve 45% emissions of 2005 by 2030 & Net Zero emissions by 2070, to reduce Global Warming and its impact on Climate Events.

To achieve this, Govt encourages Electric vehicles and is restricting Petrol/Diesel vehicles.
But maximum emissions come from Coal based Electricity generation.

If Usage of Coal is reduced for Electricity Generation, Will it impact us? Obviously.

Only to help us continue lives without disruption under such circumstances,
Govt of India is setting up Solar Parks, offers Subsidy to Domestic Users to install Solar Power plants
(Rs. 30,000 for 1 kW, Rs. 60,000 for 2 kW & Rs. 78,000 for 3 kW)
and allows Commercial & Industrial Users to claim Investment on Solar in 2 Yrs using Accelerated Depreciation.

Install Solar power plants. Not just to reduce Energy expenses; But to reduce Global Warming and its impact on Climate Events.

Call To Action

1 unit (kWh) of electricity generated by Coal, involves emission of 1 Kg CO2.

Remember, 1 unit of electricity generated by Solar, prevents emission of 1 Kg CO2.

Benefits of Going Solar

Solar solutions harness Sun’s energy for our electricity, heating & cooling needs. They save electricity costs, and reduce our load on the grid ultimately helping the grid to reduce coal usage. This is the baby-step towards the ultimate goal of shutting down all coal-fired thermal power plants, atleast during the day.

Solar Energy Solutions

Solar PV solutions generating electricity from sunlight (4 units per day from 1 kW plant) and use batteries to store are best suited for electrical applications.

But for heating requirements, instead of using electricity, using Solar thermal solutions that directly harvest heat from solar radiation are easier and more efficient. Solar Thermal solutions can be designed for heating water for bathing & washing, heating air for drying and for generating dry-steam for high temperature heating even for smelting metals.

In addition, Solar thermal solutions can be designed to generate electricity.

Power Plants

Battery-less Grid-Connected power plants, Battery-backed Grid-Interactive power plants

Grid-Tied OR On-Grid Solar Power Plants

  • By default, export excess solar-generation to the grid.
  • Need special devices to prevent export to grid.
  • Work only when grid voltage is available.
  • Will not work during power cuts.
  • Suitable for non-critical loads that can be abruptly shut down.
  • Ideal choice when user wants to reduce energy bill but does not want to maintain batteries.
  • Unit adjustment option (Units billed = Units consumed - Units exported) available only for residential users.
  • Bill adjustment option (Net Bill Amount = Bill Amount for Units consumed - (Units exported * Rs.2/-approx)) for non-residential users.
  • EB approval needed, since power is exported to EB grid.

Grid-Interactive Stand-alone Solar Power Plants

  • Cannot export excess solar-generation to the grid.
  • Need Batteries to store excess power.
  • Solar generation & Battery backup available during the day & during power cuts.
  • Suitable for Critical loads that require phased shut down.
  • Inverter draws deficit power from EB grid, when load > solar generation + battery backup.
  • Bill amount automatically reduced, as Solar generation is fully utilized.
  • EB approval not needed, since there is no export to EB grid.

Pumping Systems

Solar-driven irrigation pumps that can also run on EB supply

Grid-Interactive Solar Pumping Systems

  • Can connect only to pumps and no other load.
  • Pumps run as long as Solar generation is available.
  • Pump yield depends on intensity of sun-light.
  • Can also run from EB supply.

Water Heaters

Sizes available from 100 litres (sufficient for bathing requirement of 3 to 4 people)

Evacuated Tube Collector (ETC) Type Solar Water Heaters

  • Use large-diameter double-walled glass-tubes for heating water using Sun's heat.
  • Can work with hard water.
  • Zero maintenance.
  • Optional electric heating coil to heat water when solar heating is insufficient.
  • Suitable for heating water to temperatures < 80 deg C.

Flat Plate Collector (FPC) Type Solar Water Heaters

  • Use small-diameter copper-tubes placed under glass panels, to heat water using Sun's heat.
  • Can only work with soft water.
  • Cleaning copper tubes requires professional service.
  • Suitable for heating water to temperatures < 80 deg C.

Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) Thermal Systems

Process-heat applications - site assessment needed prior to design & estimate

Concentrated Solar Power Thermal Systems

  • Suitable for heating to temperatures upto 140 deg C.
  • Upto 50 square-metre area dishes / troughs to concentrate Sun's heat for heating.
  • Useful for a variety of applications.
  • Investment Break-even in 3 to 4 years.

Solar Dryers

For safer, faster & cleaner drying of food, herbs & agricultural produces

Solar Dryers

  • Used to dry items by quickly removing moisture from them.
  • Items in closed enclosures, so minimal contamination from dust, insects, birds.
  • Faster drying than direct sun drying.
  • Useful for drying vegetables, fruits, crops, grains, herbs.
  • Variety of designs depending on capacities.

How Do We Differ?

We take pride in uncomplicating solar solutions and educating customers.
We focus on maximizing utilization using combination of need-specific solutions.
We don't choose lesser quality components to minimize cost.
We focus our attention to every detail, even those missed out in standards.
We are determined to involve as many people - in the fight against global warming - as we can.

System Components

We tend to avoid cheaper components from countries known for questionable quality. We take care to use quality components known for their performance and reliabilty, in our solutions, even if they are not cheaper.
